When It’s OK To Lie
When It’s OK To Lie
When it comes to relationships, is honesty always the best policy? There are some exceptions to that rule where it’s ok to bend the truth slightly to spare their feelings:
· To avoid saying something bad about their family. No one likes to hear anything bad said about their family, even if they are complaining themselves. So if they ask you if you like hanging out with their family, bite your tongue and just say yes, even if they drive you crazy.
· To avoid saying something mean about their appearance. Even if they are complaining about being too short or fat or getting a terrible haircut, tell them they look great. Don’t agree with them or start pointing out their flaws, even if they ask you for your opinion.
